Data Deletion

Last updated: July 31, 2026

This page explains how to delete the data Ravenpost holds about you or your connected social accounts (Instagram, TikTok, X, Telegram, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube and Pinterest).

What we store

For each connected account we keep the platform’s account id, username, profile picture and an encrypted access token, plus the content you create (captions, uploaded media, scheduling details) and basic analytics we fetch for your own accounts. See our Privacy Policy for detail.

How to delete your data

  • Disconnect an account — in Ravenpost, go to Accounts and remove the connection. We immediately delete that account’s stored token, profile info, its scheduled posts’ targets and collected analytics.
  • Delete everything — email us at support@ravenpo.st from your account email and we will erase your account, workspaces, connected accounts, media and posts within 30 days.
  • Revoke a YouTube channel — remove Ravenpost from Google’s security settings page. That stops us publishing to the channel; disconnect it in Ravenpost (or email us) to delete the channel id, name, picture and encrypted token we stored, along with the ids and links of the videos we published for you.
  • Revoke from the platform — for Instagram and Threads, removing Ravenpost in your Meta app settings triggers an automatic deauthorize: we delete that connected account and its data without you doing anything else. You can also submit a data-deletion request from those settings, which we process automatically and confirm on this page. On the other platforms, revoking our access stops us publishing but sends us no notification — disconnect the account in Ravenpost (or email us) to remove what we stored.

Automated deletion endpoints

For Instagram and Threads we honor Meta’s deauthorize and data-deletion callbacks: when Meta notifies us that a user removed the app or requested deletion, we remove that connected account and all of its dependent records — tokens, scheduled targets and collected analytics — then return a confirmation code you can see above. The callbacks are:

  • https://api.ravenpo.st/auth/instagram/deauthorize and https://api.ravenpo.st/auth/instagram/data-deletion
  • https://api.ravenpo.st/auth/threads/deauthorize and https://api.ravenpo.st/auth/threads/data-deletion

Each is verified against that product’s own signed request, so only Meta can trigger one.
